Category Manager with the Leading FMCG Brand in their chosen area

Location – North Yorkshire

Salary – up to £45k, Car & Package

Due to the continued success within the Category team a newly created role of Category Manager focusing on the Co-op and Convenience customer base has been created.

  • You will drive insight and actions from analysis of market consumer data and identified market shifts and trends.
  • Work closely with the sales team to maximise the performance of priority ranges within customers to improve distribution and ensure delivery of the commercial plan
  • Build and enhance relationships with key customers to influence core category performance for mutual benefit.  Customer engagement through Category Reviews, Range Reviews, New Product Presentations and customer specific work
  • Execute shopper activation plans to realise category growth opportunities in line with the Category vision.

Category Management and/or Analyst experience within FMCG is a given but we are looking for individuals who are passionate about driving the category agenda within their retail customers.

You will have experience interpreting data from partners such as IRI, Kantar, Nielsen, Dunnhumby or Retail Link and be able to translate that data into actionable insight both internally and externally.
