UK Managing Director

Paul Nyman Consultancy is currently supporting the recruitment of this leading FMCG manufacturer in the appointment of a Managing Director in the UK as part of the Global European Division.  The Global business has successfully grown the branded and own label offering within retail and foodservice partners over the last 3 decades.  Whilst this has been predominantly been organic, the broader ambition of the group is illustrated through its appetite to strategically acquire partners over the last ten years that will enable it to achieve its next five year plan.

Within this role you will operate strategically whilst maintaining close tactical interaction within the UK manufacturing bases that are spread across the country.  Success will be measured through your ability to integrate all areas of the business from Supply Chain and Innovation through to Manufacturing and Commercial Marketing.

Due to the breadth of this role, you will have operated in at least two separate discipline functions which will broaden your understanding and enhance your credibility to step change the approach of the business in the UK within its  manufacturing and commercial sales arenas, and so significantly up weight both the EBITDA and profitability of the UK business.

Influence in the board room will be no less important that your ability to “change hearts and minds” of those across the UK manufacturing sites.  This will therefore require a highly adept strategic thinker capable of taking those on the journey with them and providing a vision of the future.
