Based in Yorkshire this food business offers a vibrant, entrepreneurial environment with the opportunity to really make your mark with an incredible team.  This NAM position offers a tremendous amount of flexibility and flexible working however you will need to be located within the North West or Yorkshire to allow you to get to site with ease as and when required.

Culture is key and has been an integral part of their success, the team spirited operation is infectious! Run totally autonomously, you will be empowered to make decisions and run the Food Service channel as you see fit.

As the National Account Manager within Food Service incorporating contract caterers, wholesalers and end users, you will take total channel responsibility managing existing customers and also developing new business.  Like variety? 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Customer account management working particularly closely with Brakes and Bidfood
  • New business development – research and proactively target suitable partners
  • Develop and execute Food Service strategy to support overall business
  • Customer and product rationalisation
  • Building and nurturing strong working relationships both internally and externally with key stakeholders
  • Spending time with key end users becoming an expert in the category gaining a true understanding of customer needs

The successful candidate will hold the following sills and attributes:

  • Breadth of FMCG sales experience within the Food Service channel (preferably having worked with Brakes and or Bidfood)
  • Strong commercial acumen with strong numerical skills
  • Strategic in nature and an excellent networker and relationship builder
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, high energy to develop the portfolio and progress your career
