My client is a well-loved known and respected branded global FMCG business based in the South East. The business operates in a truly exciting category and one that from an eCommerce perspective is set to grow. As a plus £1bn business, they experienced double digit sales growth and double digital top line growth last year and were revered for new product launches.

Due to huge growth in the eCommerce channel they have identified a need in the team for a Customer Marketing Manager drive profitability and brand awareness with key Grocery partners, selected Pureplay and Convenience accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of Off Trade eCommerce brand visibility (Grocery, Convenience)
• Work with the Senior eCommerce & Digital Customer Marketing Manager to deliver Amazon & Amazon Market Place brand visibility
• Work with wider UK eCommerce and to up-skill eCommerce and digital capability across the business
• Share knowledge and best practice both locally and globally in order to increase awareness, trial and re-trial of the business’ brands online
• Manage UK Brandbank for all NPD and pre-existing product optimisation
• Manage annual audit of Brandbank portfolio and renewal process, working with brand team to align content and messaging
• Manage projects covering innovative tech, digital marketing, data and system solutions to drive brand awareness, product reviews, and conversion functionality within the UK
• Explore and proactively champion opportunities for brand visibility on key B2B partner sites

Skills and experience:

• Strong understanding of the eCommerce and digital marketing channels gained from working in an FMCG or similar environment
• Previous experience of working with the Grocery retailers
• Commercial awareness – understand impact of decisions on profitability
• Naturally curious with a creative mindset - able to utilise digital understanding to take advantage of eCommerce opportunities
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and high personal impact
• Ability to be adaptable and prioritise effectively and work to multiple deadlines
