Commercial Director (Strong Export Background) – FMCG
£50-70,000 Basic, Uncapped Bonus, Company Car + Benefits
Our Client is a rapidly expanding FMCG Business. Due to continued success they are now looking for a strategic Commercial Director to strategically manage and develop key areas of the Business.
The Commercial Director will take full responsibility for the Export side of the Business which is a key growth area and already well established. In addition this role will also have full strategic responsibility for the Company’s Delivered Business to the Independent Retail channel as well as responsibility for the Online division (B2C).
The most important attribute here is someone who has extensive export sales & commercial experience. This could be to any international territories although it’s essential that candidates have export sales experience selling to distributors as this is how our Client operates on an international basis.
Strong all round commercial experience and knowledge is also important for the Delivered Business and Online divisions. Specific experience here isn’t as important as extensive export sales/commercial experience – a good commercial all-rounder will pick up these business models very quickly.
A proven and successful Man Manager is absolutely essential – this role will have a large number of direct reports.
