This FMCG business arguably has it all.   This is no ordinary brand, this is a brand which is going places and has already delivered phenomenal results across grocery, food service and wholesale. Now embarking on the next phase of their journey, they’re looking to appoint a National Account Manager who will take responsibility for the Wholesale channel incorporating Convenience Retail.

This FMCG business is large enough to provide structure and investment yet small enough to allow for autonomy, creativity and pace!  The brand is set for superstardom and is already having a huge impact on the category and they’re now in need of a Wholesale expert who can bring all the moving parts together and take them on the next stage of their journey to realise further growth.

This is a home based contract and we’re looking for someone who is not only an expert in Wholesale but someone who can carve out new opportunities, building on existing relationships and hungry to go after new business wins!

Responsibilities:

The National Account Manager will work across the Delivered Wholesale and Convenience channel with key national Wholesalers and building strong sustainable partnerships with Disciplined Retail chains and Symbol Retail operators with existing and new customers.

  • Channel strategy creation and implementation
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Create, negotiate and execute Joint Business Plans
  • Cross functional collaboration
  • Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis
  • People Management
  • Managing a portfolio of existing accounts and targeting new distribution wins

The successful candidate:

The successful candidate will hold a minimum of 5 years experience within FMCG and specifically within the Wholesale channel.  We’re looking for an expert here who understands the complexities and layers within this channel, where you can win and what it takes.  We’re looking for all the skills you would expect which makes for a successful National Account Manager in the FMCG industry and also the following attributes and characteristics:
