National Account Manager | Food | Ireland
Salary ~£30-45k + package DOE
Are you an experienced account manager with a proven track record of developing business within the food sector? Can you build long term commercial relationships to drive a business forward? If so, we want to hear from you.

About Our Client
Our client is a family-owned, international group of food businesses who manufacture and supply a variety of value-added food, drink and ingredient products. They are steeped in history and have grown over the course of the past ~150 years to be a major force in the food industry across Europe. They offer a variety of branded and own-label products with a focus on quality and real flavour. Although a large business, they retain a family-owned feel and work very closely together to deliver projects.

About the Role
This role will focus on the delivery of commercial results within the food industry in Ireland. You will utilise your experience and knowledge of the market to develop long term relationships with foodservice and food manufacturing customers. You will take a consultative sales approach and utilise your knowledge of the food sector to identify routes to market and key customers. You will feel comfortable pitching for and developing new business relationships. You will work closely with internal and external teams to understand and predict customer opportunities and needs. You will break down doors to connect the client and their products to food customers in Ireland.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of opening and developing business with food customers. You will be familiar with the different ways of working within the sector and be able to demonstrate your ability and history of delivering projects with key customers in Ireland. You will be a strong communicator with emotional intelligence who can adapt to the customer you are working with to negotiate effectively. You will be driven and motivated to develop a business and your skills. You will ideally be based in the South of Ireland.

Minimum Requirements
In order to be considered for this position, you will, as a minimum have at least 5 years' sales experience into the key food customers. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to land new business, develop accounts and deliver. You will be a strong team player, who can work within a flat structure and lean operation, whilst delivering on your own KPI's and targets.

Salary
~£30-45k DOE + package including car/allowance, bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
