Head of Trading | Wholesale | Fresh Produce

We are working with a long established Cut Flower business who are looking to appoint a Head of Sales / Trading to their team. They are looking for someone who as the proven ability to trade with wholesale markets within the UK. The business have an opportunity to drive things forward and this role is going to be crucial in doing this. Cut flower knowledge is a secondary factor for them, they can teach this. Knowledge of trading Fresh Produce in some form, will be essential however.

The Role:-
You will be heading up the trading team and leading from the front. There is a big opportunity coming out of the COVID crisis, to be able to pick up business with new customers as everyone re-establishes themselves. This is a great chance for someone to bring their trading knowledge to bear and help them capitalise the full extent. You will have all the support needed to learn the business and the new category if needed.

The Candidate:-
You will be an experienced Trading Manager looking to take on a new challenge. You will have a good working knowledge of the wholesale markets in the UK, either from a Fresh Produce or a Cut Flower point of view. You will have proven track record in growing sales and managing your suppliers effectively. Experience of managing people will be a distinct advantage as well.
