Sales Executive | Fresh Produce | Near Portsmouth

About Our Client:-
Our client is a very entrepreneurial Fresh Produce business with a long and proven track record of supplying quality produce to a range of customers across the country. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a driven Sales Executive, as they believe there are a number of opportunities that they can capitalise on at the moment. They are open minded on the background that someone brings with them, but you must be used to selling fresh / short shelf life products, to a large number of varying customers.

About the Role:-
Essentially this role is all about commercial wins and helping the business grow. You will utilise your communication and rapport building skills to form lasting relationships with a range of customers. You will have an eye for opportunities and jump on any chances to help grow sales and the business. You won't be scared to pick up the phone and talk to customers to make a sale. Likewise you will be comfortable calling potential new customers to open new doors. In order to succeed in this role you will be tenacious and have a can-do attitude. The industry offers a rewarding career path for those who are willing to work hard and think on their feet to solve problems quickly.

The Ideal Candidate:-
You will ideally have a couple of years experience in a food or short shelf life related industry. You will have a proven ability to sell and will be looking for a company that can allow you to develop and grow professionally. Most importantly, you will be very driven and determined to drive business forward as much as possible. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, so you will ideally be available immediately or have a relatively short notice period.
