As Brand Manager working with our Trade paint Brands and channels, you will develop annual brand plans for your specific portfolio as well as collaborate with colleagues to implement them successfully. This will involve spending time with customers and building an in-depth understanding of their business and marketing guidelines, and use this market-led insight to collaborate with R&D colleagues to develop a strong innovation pipeline. You will also help create marketing communication plans that deliver a seamless online and offline consumer journey as well as monitor and assess performance against KPI’s. You will take responsibility for overseeing budgets too. Important will be the ability to use your commercial acumen to balance brand and customer objectives. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership, drive change and make a difference to high profile brands. This role will expose you to mix of strategy and planning, innovation, product and portfolio as well as communications.

Of graduate calibre you will have experience of brand planning in a high performing business in the FMCG, Retail or DIY industries, and ideally, a relevant marketing qualification. Used to working on brand and product strategy, you will be happy managing P&L and able to develop work across multiple channels. Important will be the ability to thinks creatively and work with stakeholders to overcome challenging situations. Comfortable operating within a matrix organisation structure, you will possess excellent project management and interpersonal skills. Results driven, you will be a champion of the consumer and an effective communicator who excels at multi-tasking.
