Our client is a highly respected, well-established, added-value UK-based food manufacturer with a key focus on developing bespoke food solutions for the Foodservice sector end-user and wholesale accounts.

The Role

As National Account Manager you will take full P&L responsibility for the commercial performance of a selection of existing major foodservice sector customers including pub groups, contract caterers, restaurant groups and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities will be to lead the commercial growth agenda with existing customers whilst also shaping new strategies to further grow existing business, as well as ‘hunting’ for new customer trading opportunities.

The role will involve you working internally with chefs and the wider development teams, as well as your customers’ key contacts including buying, NPD development teams and marketing; all focused on achieving step changing sales and profitable growth achievements.

About You

Without doubt you are passionate about food and relish the challenge of developing and ‘hunting’ new business within the Foodservice sector. You have an outstanding track record to back up your love for what you do and how you ‘win’ externally with your customers, which could either be major end-user or wholesale accounts at head office level.

Currently working at National Account Manager or Controller level, you have successfully grown your career in the food industry and must have Foodservice major account level experience, including all modern account management activities.

You are highly personable, driven with passion and energy for what you do, and you love working as part of the team towards achieving your business growth goals.
