Homebased , but flexibility to travel to customers across the UK as required.

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the UK division of a leading European coffee and tea manufacture at a time of growth and development in the UK. The business is renowned for a range of market leading products with strong brands and has ambitious plans for further significant development in the UK market. We are now looking for National Account Manager to join our team and help in this exciting development across retail & wholesale sectors.

The successful National Account Manager will be tasked with

  • Winning new business from both contacts and self-generating leads in the retail sector
  • Sales presentations to both new and existing customers
  • Managing and developing relationship with National and Wholesale accounts
  • Ongoing account management, developing and maintaining customer ranges
  • Prospecting new business opportunities

The ideal National Account Manager will ideally have the following skills and experience

  • Proven business development and account management experience in FMCG
  • Previous experience in food FMCG (Hot Beverage coffee, tea and instant products categories desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years sector experience
  • Experience with at least one of the big four
  • Pro-active, self-motivated, with strong ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills
