Key Account Managers x 3 – Wholesale.
Our client’s business is already expanding rapidly, and a recent injection of capital by the European parent company means it now has the facility to invest substantially in new premises, new products and new people. The company is already well established in the major multiple grocery channel, however it now has a new range of products aimed exclusively at the independent retail Convenience channel. It is also extending its product lines from the traditional frozen categories into both ambient and chilled product which itself creates another exciting opportunity. Your job then would not be to sell to the independent retailers themselves, but to penetrate the wholesalers who supply the retailers ( the likes of Booker, Bestway, Landmark etc as well as numerous smaller wholesalers which together form the backbone of the supply chain into the independent convenience channel ).
Our client has three newly created positions available, one in the north, one in the midlands and one along the M4 corridor, and to be considered for one of these exciting positions you should have current or recent experience of dealing with at least one national cash and carry / wholesaler and you should have the energy and drive to really maximise the commercial opportunities that present themselves. You will also need to be skilled in the art of new business, as well as an accomplished relationship builder.
In return for your dedication and effort, our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £34,589 to £41,026 plus performance related pay and a generous car allowance.
