The team are operating in FMCG food and drink and have developed a unique offering over the last decades through integrating its group supply chain to become a recognized leader in its field. This has been incorporated the creation of top range of products that the retailers and consumers have come to select as part of their basket.
The business operates in a fast paced environment where retailer brand dominates over branded options. As such you will have responsibility for delivering key growth through creation of commercial solutions through JBP and promotional planning that incorporates category managed commercial plans. Integral to this will be engagement with NPD and Technical teams to ensure the commercial objectives are maximized. Your experience will enable you to manage the Convenience and discounter channels with focus on Aldi, Lidl, Coop, Spar Nis and Booker amongst your key customers. The Person
Ready to make your second or third career move within a commercial environment, you will have experience oacross the discounter and convenience markets. This will be a logical step for you to develop and move upwards in your career through the groups training program. To be successful, you will have a history of pushing hard within your customers to win and be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and fight for market share. Reward for this will see you promoted in either the UK business or elsewhere in the group
