Commercial Lead(newly created position) required to create and implement commercial growth plans for a SME with a premium organic brand offering.
Within this newly developed role you will help grow this brand in the Premium Retail, Wholesale and Food service channels.
Our client is a well established company selling a range of Organic Premium products within a growing category. Already listed in Waitrose, Ocado and M&S, along with high end independents and premium wholesalers, the role will be focused on developing these existing accounts while also growing new business across wholesaler and food service accounts specifically travel and contract caterers.
In order to succeed in this role you will need a proven track record working within a premium branded environment across food service and wholesale channels. You will have experience building new business and developing existing accounts looking after multiple P&Ls. With the ability to engage with customers across different channels, you will be able to hit the ground running and have the experience to back this up.
This is a remote based role with 1 or 2 days a month based in in the northern based head office. This role requires a "hands on" and proactive individual, familiar with cross functional project management, meaning those from private label backgrounds will also be considered.
As the company's first permanent sales appointment, the business will be looking to take guidance and input from the successful candidate before finalising their commercial strategy.
