Here at PepsiCo, we're recruiting for an eCommerce Category & Insight expert to join our team!

This role is the go-to person for understanding market, category and performance insight across the eCommerce channel, providing quick and easy solutions which combine and share a wealth of information and data sources, whilst constantly seeking out new opportunities, solutions and tools to develop additional knowledge. In addition, the role will directly support the Category Development team, working with our key retail customers to deliver category sales growth.
  • Aggregate and share eCommerce performance information from a set of disparate data sources to develop new insights, including data preparation, data governance and development of automated reporting and insights to support future eCommerce growth from emerging online opportunities
  • Continually optimise the way information on performance and performance drivers is captured, processed and shared with the eCommerce team and broader business, including European colleagues, through automation and data visualisation
  • Harness the power of multiple data sources to develop new insights, through analytics or solutions to support analytics
  • Identify and address critical knowledge gaps through the delivery of new data and insights tools or solutions to enhance our knowledge of the channel, our retailers and our shoppers
  • Be the knowledge expert for eCommerce performance and tools, providing information and training expertise to advise on how to best leverage eCommerce data to accelerate category growth
  • Support with key customers or categories, to identify category growth opportunities and advise both internal and external stakeholders (grocery retailers) on how to capture them


  • Analytical thinking and visualisation expertise - ability to seek out and analyse relevant information and data, and integrate learning from multiple sources, including Nielsen, Kantar, and retailer data. Understanding of data analytics and visualisation software e.g. PowerBI, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent project and stakeholder management - ability to plan and manage projects to completion and be comfortable co-ordinating and influencing multiple stakeholders
  • Aptitude to learn fast and coach others - able to absorb and integrate new facts and methodologies, as well as coach others to learn and develop
  • Focused and proactive - attention to detail, with ability to spot potential problems and proactively plan to avoid them in advance.
