National Account Manager | Home-based | Fresh Produce
You will be working for a business who have had a long and successful association with the Fresh Produce industry. We are helping them find a new Account Manager to deal with some of the best Fresh Produce growers in country. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for your customers and will be responsible for maintaining current relationships whilst seeking out new customers as well. The Role:-
You will be responsible for driving the sales growth of the business, but this will be achieved through relationships and understanding the customers needs, rather than a hard sell.
There are always a number of developments either in the pipeline or coming to fruition, so you will be responsible for ensuring your customers know about them and the benefits they can bring.
You will be working very closely with the different departments internally, in order to provide a strong flow of information which will be mutually beneficial. The Candidate:-
You will have experience of working in Fresh Produce, ideally with particular experience across glasshouse grown salad crops, but this isn't essential.
You will be a strong self-starter who is able to prioritise their working time effectively and ensure you are making the most of customer visits around the country
You will be able to travel to Europe on occasions and have no issues with regular overnight visits.
