Wine Development Manager
£C.£37,500 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Laptop
I am currently seeking an enthusiastic Wine Development Manager for a drinks distributor who is able to work closely with the Sales Account Managers within the patch but also their own direct accounts and internal customers such as Telesales and Distribution to co-ordinate. This position will be responsible for the development of profitable wine sales through the existing account base whilst also delivering on a new business target, whilst also offering support and training to develop the businesses position as a leader in on-trade wine sales.
Your key responsibilities as a Wine Development Manager will include achieving your wine budget across the account base. Developing leads into new business for the company and increasing the wine knowledge of the venues. Providing bespoke training and wine menus for On-Trade venues and ensuring their products work in tandem with other areas of their business.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of wine, you will have a minimum of WSET level 2, with Diploma being advantageous to the role. The ability to present Wine plans and proposals to senior managers and speak clearly, openly and passionately about wine is also a must.
