This is an outstanding opportunity to develop your career with a global IT and Tech manufacturer based in the North West.
There is no such thing as an ideal candidate for this role in terms of specific background - what we're looking for is a bright, commercially astute individual, probably with a Business Degree, looking to use their 2-3 years of current experience in a new environment. You could come from an FMCG, IT, or broad commercial background - what is most important is the ability to grasp new concepts, adapt existing ideals, challenge the norm and create new ways of working across Europe. You need to be able to analyse and interpret data (we don't need a "techie or numbers guru") and develop relationships across the board in our business as well as with our customers. You must be able to flex your style of working - you'll be sitting down with a Sales Director for one meeting and working with Executive Assistants or National Account Managers the next.
Personable, professional, resilient, fundamentally well-organised and able to work to deadlines. This role is part of an existing Transformation project, revolutionising their EMEA Retail and Etail proposition and would place you in a highly visible position developing key strategic plans for their future activity across the region. You will work alongside the Pan European Business Manager and have direct access to all other EMEA partner offices at Senior Leadership level (Sales Director & MD), as well as working with key Retail and Etail partners.
You will be given a huge scope within role, the Line Manager operates in a very hands-off style, and you will take on major responsibilities quickly. This can only help your career development going forward.
Please note - due to Covid-19, currently, the role is WFH with 2 days per week in the Manchester Head Office. All meetings are virtual across the business but going forward the role will be office based with European travel. There will also be some international travel but only when circumstances allow.
