Away from Home (AFH) is predicted to be one of the number 1 growth channel for the UK over the next 3-5yrs, with a strategy to unlock step changing Share and Revenue. This is a very exciting time to be joining PepsiCo and we are currently recruiting a Customer Business Controller who will be at the heart of unlocking our growth plans, focussed on National Quick Service Restaurants and Limited Service Restaurant expansion.
This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working with Global Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) customers as a branded partner, providing essential career breadth in a strategic sub channel and growing section of market. The QSR's have strategic importance and sizeable revenue contribution, therefore the role provides high visibility within the UK and European Business units, with key short and long term initiatives to deliver.
Your role will include two main responsibilities
(i) Delivery of the financial metrics and customer relationships to enable the execution of the Annual Operating Plan initiatives and PSP unlocks
(ii) Full P&L accountability for 3 categories (Snacks, Grains & Juice) across priority Quick Service Restaurant customers in the AFH channel

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for building and executing the AOP's of big name customers within QSR to deliver the volume and revenue targets for all 3 categories aligned to channel growth plan.
  • Indirect management of Limited Service Restaurant through 2 direct reports.
  • Responsible for development of their team, via coaching, feedback and formal training, to ensure performance in role
  • Design and execute deep contact strategies with to integrate and establish PepsiCo as a key strategic partner
  • Own and lead best in class cross functional national account teams across insights, finance, shopper marketing, merchandising, eComm & supply chain to maximise existing customers through World Class Customer Engagement and the right commercial solutions
  • Build Long term strategic plan to double incidence and lead the execution
  • Design and execute commercial plans aligned to NRR targets
  • Partner with R&D, Corporate Affairs and Supply Chain to lead the QSR PWP agenda to identify opportunities and play a lead role in bringing solutions to market
  • Partner with Marketing teams to deliver against key marketing metrics to leverage QSR customers occasion to support brand building
  • Represent the UK as the lead ESSA market to share best practice to support the growth of less developed markets
  • Lead role to play within the broader AFH team, supporting driving the best practice aligned to key raise the bar initiatives.




  • Experience
  • Success in a customer facing role - FMCG industry
  • Strong strategic skills anchored around data and consumer insight with experience taking strategy to execution.
  • Proven ability to work and collaborate cross functionally to unlock results for the channel
  • Proven leadership and people development skills of a substantial team of diverse individuals
  • Influencing skills - demonstration of ability to influence both internal and external agenda at a senior level
  • Commercial Acumen - Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda
  • Skilled negotiator - ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations at both tactical and a strategic/contractual level
  • Strong track record of results - consistent delivery of top line and bottom line targets in previous roles
  • Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
  • Experience of managing complex routes to markets
