The business is currently looking to appoint a talented Category Manager to deliver profitable consumer and customer-based solutions by influencing the grocery and high street retailers, both instore and online.
As a result of internal promotion, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially trained Category Manager to join the team and make a significant contribution to our Category strategy. Reporting to the Customer Marketing Controller you will be responsible for leading and developing the category strategy for several iconic health & beauty brands within grocery and high street retailers.
You will drive a collaborative category agenda through the development of strategic category management relationships with specific accounts. You will develop joint category plans that deliver growth via range, promotion and NPD in line with the business’s category and brand strategy by spotting mutually beneficial opportunities.
You’ll need to have a strong track record in world-class shopper/customer insight and data within a branded FMCG environment; a deep understanding of shopper behaviour and experience in dealing with multiple retailers at all levels. Ultimately, we’re looking for someone with strong commercial acumen, brand awareness and a solid analytical approach.
