The Role of Head of Product
Lead the creation of Product and category strategy, to shape the portfolio and champion the consumer to drive category growth.
- Lead a team of four
- Set product and category strategy - own all aspects of portfolio management
- Shape product lifecyle management - positioning, pricing, promotion and modelling
- Consumer insight
- Leading cross functional team to deliver
- Category P&L responsibility
- Present at senior meetings
- Manage range structure

- Experience in Product and category within consumer goods at strategic level
- Team management
- Technical specification that can be translated into a meaningful consumer message
- Commercially minded
- Track record of delivering growth
- Exposure to senior stakeholders
- Degree educated or similar
