Our client is an ambitious internationally branded FMCG business with a strong and loyal heritage. They are at the forefront of changing eating habits from FREE FROM and VEGETARIAN and they are leading the alternative!

The role is to drive new business and listings for frozen and chilled Free From and Vegetarian ranges that will deliver both profit and growth.  A transitioning culture that wants to be ahead of the curve by developing new business plans and sales strategies that create need within major multiples. Your key performance indicators will include developing relationships cross functionally, driving sales and managing trade promotional spend, whilst developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy.

Ideal candidates will have a background in fresh, chilled or frozen food and a career that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. However, we want a Business Developer who has the drive and commitment to grow the business alongside our existing Grocery team and range of contacts. An ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management is essential.
