THE ROLE

You will be joining a fast paced, growing hydration drinks business with an impressive portfolio of global customers, growth and pioneering product and brand innovation. The overarching strategic objective is to drive both product sales volume, brand exposure and to increase market dominance. Whilst you will be fully supported by the team, the emphasis will very much be on you to demonstrate your commitment and passion for the role and to show how you can deliver your objectives, exceed targets and help grow the business in the short, medium and long-term.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEAD OF RETAIL SALES

iPRO pride themselves on delivering exceptionally high levels of customer service to its broad customer base of food service distributors, catering organisations and high street retailers. Due to ongoing expansion, iPRO are now looking to appoint a Head of Retail Sales who has vast experience and recent connections with senior buyers positioned within the mass market retail sector and multiple grocers. A successful candidate will;

  • Report to the board of Directors with plenty of autonomy
  • You will inherit a number of existing accounts to manage whilst also identifying new opportunities to secure new business and revenue streams
  • Be highly incentivised with the opportunity to be rewarded well financially
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to support sales growth
  • Driving and retaining sales
  • Drive distribution of existing products and new products
  • Negotiate all elements of pricing, terms and promotions within business guidelines
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products market position and brand strategy
  • Representing the company with the highest of standards at all times

THE PERSON

You need to be self-motivated to work alone as well as being able to work within a team; you must be target driven, work well under pressure, be responsive to deadlines and fully accountable for personal and team objectives. The ideal candidate will:

  • Represent iPRO in a personable style with a positive attitude and the gravitas to present at a senior level
  • Ability to engage with customers at all levels
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a high level of commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to strive to be the best version of yourself and exceed company expectations
  • Energetic, determined, driven and hungry for success with a passion and energy for sales
  • Full clean driving license
  • The legal right to work in the UK
