Job Details

Our client is a food manufacturer with a range of products that are used extensively within restaurants and caterers. Their products are used mainly in meal preparation, but some can be packed for use front of house. Due to increased demand from the foodservice sector they now require a National Account Executive to support sales growth in their food service business.

Reporting to the Account Controller, you will support the Controller in managing the main foodservice wholesalers. To ensure effective long-term sales growth you will develop and maintain long-term relationships with the head offices of catering groups and end users. You will also manage regional contacts of the major wholesalers. With the controller  you will support the implementation of the sales strategies and promotional activity that will grow their long-term sales.

Of graduate calibre, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience and success in foodservice market and have strong business development skills. You must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and numerate skills. Currently you will be a National Account Executive who desires the commercial independence to really make a difference. Some experience of working with Bidfood and or Brakes is desirable.
