Fantastic opportunity for a driven, hungry and successful FS/Horeca sales professional to join a fast growing, globally recognised dairy business as their new Business Development Manager - HORECA Channel, helping to shape and grow this channel and really put their own mark on the role.

My client is a true global and market leader in their field. Due to significant growth now looking for a Business Development Manager - HORECA Channel.

Description

The Business Development Manager - HORECA Channel will be responsible for the following:-
  • optimising the foodservice/horeca route to market here in the UK
  • develop, in accordance with tariff charts, the sales of the foodservice/horeca portfolio in the UK
  • manage the existing client portfolio and actively prospect the area to bring on new customers
  • develop the distributor network, manage these relationships and ensure high quality commercial relationships with these distributors are maintained
  • participate, along with the marketing teams in the development and implementation of an activation strategy relevant to the specific needs of the market and in particular the UK customers
  • meet agreed budget and revenue targets for the UK foodservice/horeca business
  • regularly report back to head office and manufacturing on the activity and progress across the channel


Profile

The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager - HORECA Channel role will bring with them the following skills and experiences:-
  • educated to degree level in a relevant field
  • very strong understanding of the foodservice/horeca market and channel in the UK
  • a strong sales person, excellent commercial outlook, a seasoned negotiator with excellent influencing skills
  • strong listening, autonomy and dedication
  • expertise in the following areas; bakery, pastry, hotels, restaurants and wider horeca and foodservice categories and customers
  • passionate and enthusiastic character, totally committed to results and driving business forward
  • persistent and creative, someone who loves to continue to network and build
  • excellent communicator and presenter,very comfortable internally and externally at all levels
  • enthusiastic about market research, development and keeping up to date with trends and factors that impact results
  • we are looking for someone who is mobile between South West London, and the Bristol area


Job Offer

up to £45,000 per annum + company car + 10% annual bonus + other benefits
