Senior Account Manager – Home Furnishings – Dunelm

Accessible to North West/Midlands based office

Our client is a renowned, market leading supplier of design-led home furnishing products. They are the number one supplier in the UK within their prospective product category. This is a design and trend orientated category and the business creates unique products for a number of high street retailers. The business is enjoying a sustained period of growth and continue to build on a long-standing reputation in the home furnishings category. This is a family run business with a close-knit working culture that offers the opportunity to play a big part in future growth plans. Dunelm is a key focus for the organisation, we are seeking a Senior Account Manager to take responsibility for this retailer.

In this role you will work closely with the Dunelm account, managing all aspects of this relationship. You must a great communicator, relationship builder and be able to work towards the long-term strategy of our client. This is an all-encompassing opportunity, offering a mix of involvement in product development along with the commercial side of the role. As this is a retailer of very high importance to our client you must have a great strategic way of working and be able to demonstrate this at all levels, internally and externally.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of managing the Dunelm account, it would be highly beneficial for this to have been in an aligned product category such as housewares or home furnishings for example. If you don’t have specific experience with Dunelm but have managed a closely aligned high street retailer, this will still be considered should you be able to demonstrate transferable skills. Experience of operating in a non-food consumer goods, product development led environment would make this role a great fit. You will need to have previously managed a major high street National Account at a strategic level. This would therefore suit National Account Manager’s or Senior Account Manager’s. The role offers future potential for progression to become part of the leadership team for our client. You must therefore be ambitious and keen to develop. Alongside this you will need to be well natured, likable and down to earth.
