The Role
: For this Account Manager role, you will be responsible for generating new business across the whole of the UK - to then retain and develop the relationship and commercial success over time. Target business will be generated through research, a directory of potential leads and self-sourcing. You'll be selling a range of meats and seafood, attempting to acquire business across a range of industries including Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Cash & Carries and Butchers. You will be home and field based, covering a national remit.

The Company
: Our client is a multi-million turnover business, who have been operating for over 25 years. They pride themselves on their accredited suppliers and traceability of their products across the UK, Europe and Far East. They are well respected for quality of produce, plus as a top employer they retain their staff well. This new role presents itself due to company expansion.

For this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Experience selling meat or seafood
  • Or be a butcher looking for a career change into sales
  • Independent, hard working and be motivated by generating new business



Benefits of this role:
  • Starting salary of £35,000 - £40,000
  • Plus £20,000 OTE bonus (uncapped)
  • Company car
  • 20 days holiday, increasing each year (plus bank holidays)
