Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in retail or large blue chip businesses? Are you all about creating solutions and delivering projects quickly? Do you have an understanding of the food supply chain and able to improve processes and manage projects through critical paths? If so, we want to hear from you.

About the Job:
This role will focus on the food side of the business and will lead projects to fulfill efficient delivery within supply chains through effective project management. You will utilise your experience in project management and transformation/change management to drive the process of improving new store openings and closures. So, you will need to be able to liaise with a number of cross functional business stakeholders to gather information, solve problems, design solutions, pull together working groups, and make decisions so that projects can be delivered whilst improving customer experiences in new/closing stores. You will be able to guide projects through critical paths and key stages of each project. You will be familiar with tools/software to add this process.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within a retail environment - ideally food retail. You will have a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and deliver projects on time and to budget. You will understand the retail supply chain, critical paths and key gateways to be able to deliver effective project management. You will be able to show a track record of overcoming hurdles to deliver projects and understand the impact on the customer/business for not delivering a store opening/closing correctly. You will be able to work with internal departments in supply chain and forecasting to plan for store openings and closures to ensure supply demands are met whilst minimising waste.
Minimum Requirements:
This is a challenging role that requires some niche experience. To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a proven track record in project management. You will need to be a clear and concise communicator and be able to influence the wider team and business. You will need to be able to demonstrate your understanding of the retail supply chain and knowledge of managing critical paths.
