About the Company:
My client is an international company with a fabulous presence in key retailers like Screwfix, Toolstation and Amazon and has established itself as the leading tool brand in electrical wholesale. They are now looking to strengthen the sales team with the recruitment of an Account Manager to be part of this well established and reputable organisation.
Job Description:
Within this Account Manager role you will be involved in the following:
- Managing end user customers and accounts such as Saint Gobain, Grafton, Brammer Buck & Hickman, AIEW, Cromwell, Monks & Crane, Huws, Howdens, ARCO, ERIKS, Anixter etc.
- Trade negotiations and agreements.
- Account development.
- Brand awareness building.
Key Skills / Experience Required:
This is a great role for an Account Manager who is experienced in managing end users ideally in a mechanical/engineering remit so you will have experience selling on a floor level in a plant or similar. If you have managed one or more of the above listed accounts and have experience managing a multi-million pound account base that would be highly advantageous.
- This role will require you to be able to work at a head office level as well as on the shop floor and speak to a variety of people however account management as opposed to just field sales is required.
- You will be comfortable in a home and field based role managing your own diary.
- You will be experienced in trade agreements and negotiations and be well versed in face to face meetings and presentations with clients.
- The right person for this Account Manager role will have a hunger for developing business as there are plenty of accounts open which could be developed further, therefore increasing your portfolio.
Salary / Benefits Information:
The basic of circa £44,000 - £48,000 + good bonus + car + mobile + laptop + benefits.
