Job Details

Reporting to Digital Communications EMEA Director, the role is responsible for the management of all content across EMEA digital properties beyond .com sites and campaign toolkits, digital shelf/ecommerce assets, and the oversight and distribution of McCormick assets in various video, text and visual formats. This position maintains and protects the ‘voice of the brand’, ensures alignment to content standards and strategy, and is critical to increasing consumer engagement in the digital space.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate existing and new content across a wide spectrum of consumer touch points. Ensure all content meets established brand and company standards and is consistent with marketing promotional calendar, activation toolkits and .com properties. Coordinate activities related to ongoing conversation calendars and engagement initiatives for various McCormick’s brands
  • Serve as a community manager across several social media properties. Actively monitor and engage with consumers in the social space to develop relationships and build brand advocacy.
  • Oversee and maintain digital asset library both in-house and with external partners. Distribute assets as appropriate to sales field, agency partners, media, bloggers, etc.
  • Contribute to the development of new content and social experiences, with the help of various agency partners and marketing team members, including the McCormick Kitchens.

Support the creation and distribution of regular reports to a variety of stakeholders, related to social media metrics, successes and key learnings.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • Digital experience working with social media tools to achieve business goals.
  • Expertise in New Media required.
  • Very good understanding of digital and social media landscape required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills required.
  • Ability to assess/edit engaging original content related to meal preparation and flavour.
  • Experience in PR, online marketing, graphic design or advertising preferred.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) preferred.
  • Familiarity with media analytics and social listening tools
