Basic Salary £63,000 - £90,000

What will you be doing?

  • Our Head of Business Development will be creating and managing strategies to gain contracts and run pilots within new partners, you will be working with the wider team to renegotiate contracts, managing new business budgets and networking with potential partners to identify opportunities.
  • As the face of the brand in the relevant industries, we would want you to establish a leadership and/or category leadership position within the trade, to open access to new opportunities. This would also support our goal of being seen as a ‘total coffee company’.
  • We need an expert negotiator, with strong commercial acumen who has built and managed major accounts and lead teams to success.

Who we are looking for?

  • We are looking for a GAP trained, multiskilled senior negotiator who can manage and leverage a P&L.
  • We need a leader of change and strategic thinking, with a customer focus who can successful build and motivate a sales team.
  • You’ll have developed your sales techniques in a B2B environment, dealing with large corporate clients and able to sell complex solutions to close contracts at board level.
  • A proven track record of sales performance and leading high performing teams in a multi proposition selling environment.
  • The ability to create, develop and drive channel strategies.
  • Expertise in contract creation and management.
  • Proven leadership ability – has successfully managed high performing teams
  • Significant proven experience of sales in a B2B environment; managing field-based sales/business development teams
  • FMCG background selling a service as opposed to a product
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of selling strategies and managing their implementation
