1 to cover: London, East of England, South & South West (Ideally based M4 corridor but not essential)

1 to cover: Midlands, Wales & North (Ideally based north of Birmingham but not essential)

 

Due to ongoing business development and to drive further expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for two Regional Account Managers to join our business.

A young and dynamic business, that are specialists in Outdoor Leisure Recreation & Sports merchandise.  We design, develop and distribute over 800 products to a rapidly growing customer base.  Ranging from Independent outdoor retailers to Nationwide grocery groups in the UK and Internationally.

Our brands include Summit camping and walking, ‘POP’ collapsible space saving product, Pursuit sport and fitness, MyBento for life on the move, and Bistro & Co indoor & outdoor dining accessories including BBQ’s. 

To succeed at Summit, you will have a proven track record in FMCG non food and drink sales, possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience trading with Independent to medium size retail businesses.  You will be commercially astute and have the ability to manage and develop strong collaborative business relationships with both existing and new customers.  You will have an entrepreneurial attitude, commitment to drive for results and have excellent negotiation skills.

We require your experience, creative input and ability to analyse customer product ranges, come up with new product suggestions, develop sales plans and strategies to achieve the full potential of our product categories.  Whilst ensuring we maximise sales and profitability with customers.

As part of your role, you will be required to attend quarterly sales meetings at our head office and attend trade fairs when and where needed.

In return we offer a very competitive remuneration package comprising of basic salary, uncapped commission, car allowance or company car, plus all out of pocket expenses.

This is achieved through selective product sourcing, rigorous quality controls, eye catching packaging and presenting artwork to the consumer in a way that allows them to make an informed choice about which product to buy.

We service our customers from the Summit head office and warehouse facility based in Basildon, Essex.  We hold 700+ products in stock, that are available for immediate despatch nationwide through our own fleet of vehicles.
