Job Details

The post can be based in Avignon (France), Haddenham (UK) or Lodz (Poland), reporting to the Financial Director for Global Purchasing.

Partner working towards company goals – supporting fully the EMEA commercial business with management reporting on actuals, forecast and budget. Supporting Procurement team, providing guidance on CCI, Cash and EVA decisions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

.Business Planning & Analysis:

  • EMEA Consumer business partner – supporting all consumer entities (FR, UK, PL, IT, Iberia, Export, Benelux, Switzerland, TK).  Using critical analysis, business insight and commodity market knowledge to interrogate, reason and present information as part of the business planning cycle.

EMEA Procurement reporting & Analysis:

  • Leading regional insight and analysis on Cash and DPO
  • Regional Iconic raw material critical analysis and reporting feeding into Global reporting
  • Driving indirect CCI “claim or reinvest” regional initiative, working cross functional to ensure maximum benefit to the business
  • Supporting Procurement director in setting budgets and managing spend through cycle.  Co-ordinating with plant controllers who perform tactical support

Business/Operations Analysis & Support:

  • Consumer finance support for annual pricing negotiations and new business tenders. Providing critical insight into commodity movements historically and forward looking to support pricing assumptions
  • France Procurement team local business partnering provide analysis and insight on key procurement initiatives (CCI, Cash delivery, EVA, indirect optimization)

       System roll out support:

  • Procurement finance lead for roll out TM1

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the capabilities of transaction & reporting systems including
  • Understands available reporting, drill down capabilities, and able to organize data in a way that adds value to analysis
  • Advanced proficiency Excel and basic proficiency in Word and Power Point
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Self-management of own workload – capability to plan work and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Fluent English is required, and other European languages would be a distinct advantage
