Our client is a leading food business with a vision to grow its core brands worldwide. The company’s success has been achieved through a commitment to developing their workforce and also the innovation of first to market products. They are now looking to invest further in their marketing department with the appointment of a new Head of Marketing who can the lead the brand strategy drive future growth.

This Head of Marketing position will be the forefront of innovation whilst having a huge influence over the global production facilities for both branded and own-label products. This role is perfect if you want to be a channel leader within a globally recognised business whilst operating within an innovative and fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support Managing Director in the development of a future vision for their leading UK brand
• Develop and execute the long-term strategic brand plan, with a strong focus on the innovation pipeline.
• Own key innovation projects, working with both UK and global teams to source high quality products that consumers will love and ensuring excellent delivery and execution across the trade
• Develop compelling stories for growing the #1 brand in existing and new categories
• Develop optimum consumer communication plans to deliver both marketing and business objectives, exploring new and different ways to connect with our target consumer
• Accompany and support the Commercial Manager at customer meetings, bringing to life the brand for the trade
• Provide leadership and coaching to a team of 4 

Experience required:

• The successful candidate will be proven FMCG Marketer
• Small to medium business with proven success in developing recognized brands
• UK market experience
• Passion, energy and enthusiasm
• Strategic and creative thinking
• Science – Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems
• Clarity of communication style and internal / external influence
• Time Management –Manage one’s time and the time of others.
• Persuasive – Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour
