The Associate Trade Strategy Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute commercialisation strategies in the category. The successful candidate will contribute multichannel insight and data to optimise distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising in order to deliver profitable business results.

Description

The Associate Trade Strategy Manager will provide business input into trade strategy and support overall trade plans for the category. Participating in annual planning cycles, the successful candidate will use planning tools and processes that enable the team to effectively evaluate customer strategy, apply trade rates, and track and report on trade promotions.

The Associate Trade Strategy Manager will deploy trade tactics and plans in support of sales targets, ensuring optimal execution or promotional plans. The successful candidate will analyse customer spend effectiveness, and monitor promotional pricing activities.

The Associate Trade Strategy Manager will collect and report on consumption, and execute quarterly plan activities based on the data gathered, as well as providing input and insights to innovation and recommendations on Category Management tactics.

This role is office-based near Bristol, with travel 10-20% of the time.



Profile

The successful candidate will:
  • Have a proven track record in Category Management and/or Trade Marketing
  • Have a track record in FMCG/Consumer Goods
  • Have a demonstrated knowledge of Category Management with Major Retailers
  • Be a self-starter
  • Have a project management track record
  • Have strong familiarity with syndicated data, measures and software
