Our client is an established leading medical furniture manufacturer distributing products across the UK and to export markets. Highly advanced products that have the ability help and improve patient healthcare. Due to strong growth, they're now looking to strengthen their International export market, focusing on North America.





Description

This International Business Development Manager position will be a key appointment to identify new business opportunities from; new markets, growth areas, trends, competitors and business analysis.

The main responsibilities;
  • Strategically deliver sales growth and achieve sales targets through client relationships
  • Identify and open new relevant distributor partners in North America
  • Manage efficiencies and effectiveness in supply chain and maximise distributor performance
  • Own the customer experience from start to deliver to after sales
  • Set financial targets, budgets and prepare and present reports to the board
  • Manage current legal documentation to export products
  • Live and work in the Dorset area




  • Profile

    The successful candidate will possess the following attributes;
  • Must have experience selling into North America markets, ideally; medical furniture / devices, office furniture
  • Proven track record of success in setting up distributor partnerships in North America
  • Successful experience gaining entry into new markets and countries, setting up and negotiating contracts with distributors
  • High levels of gravitas to establish and build long term relationships
  • Work well internally with all stakeholders
  • Use CRM systems to measure operational activities
  • Travel overseas when required
