About our Client:
Our client is a leading food service provider and specialises in a variety of fresh food categories. They supply national accounts through pub groups, restaurants, casual dining and out of home channels. They have helped some of the big high street names grow over the years and have a great reputation for quality products and service. The team is passionate about food and the job they do. The business is all about building long term relationships with it's customers and to deliver the very best.

About the Job:
This role is all about delivering new business. You will utilise you experience in the food service channel to identify and target potential new business. You will then use your sales experience and tenacity to deliver new accounts in the channel for the business. This role is all about hunting for new business and delivering growth opportunities. You will target accounts with a annual spend of £500k+.

The Ideal Candidate:
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering new business within the food service channel. You will have drive and determination to succeed and be able to work towards sales targets. You will be able to utilise your time effectively and prioritise your efforts.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in a business development function within the food service channel - profit sector is preferable. You will need to show a desire and hunger to progress yourself. You will be home based, but be flexible and able to travel as required. Someone based south of the midlands would be advantageous due to the location of customers and the head office.

Salary:
As a guide the role will likely sit in the £40k - £50k salary bracket, and will also include a car, bonus and a strong benefits package.
