Picture this:

Two fields, blanketed in snow.

One’s full of footprints. Muddy. Few good bits left to stomp in.

The other’s an untouched, smooth, blank canvas. You can dive in and make a damn impressive snow angel.

No point in the question. Your mouth should be watering over the immaculate field.

You know food or drinks sales. Finding an untapped sales territory like that is nirvana.

Somewhere you’ve the keys to, can call your own, can pursue every opportunity.

What if this territory was one of the biggest fields around?

London. The Big Smoke, ironically, pure just for you. None of your colleagues have ever touched it.

Would you stay trudging in your muddy field? Or would you move over?

My client saves their customers money using their purchasing power. They’ve been growing headcount and turnover by 20% pa for over 10 years. Hence this vacancy. You’d do business development. Talk to potential clients, collect their purchase invoices, and then analysts – some of the best in the industry – calculate how much they’ll save. Then you deliver the good news, get some signatures and do some changeovers. Which they will – you’re saving them money.
Sounds easy, but you still get a month’s induction, plus regular training on anything you’re unsure about.

You’re not micromanaged, though. You’ll be home and field-based. Plan your own day.

Want to know your KPIs? “Are you on target for revenue generated.”

That’s it.

If you’re doing that, who cares. Work your own way.

The company’s owned by two guys. No shareholders’ meetings telling you what you can’t do. Decisions made quickly, no red tape. Maybe they’re just old-fashioned like that.

Now, Money.

Base salary: we can talk about what you’ll need.

On top, there’s £3.5k car allowance and other benefits we’ll discuss.

But this is sales. Commission is where it’s at.

There’s people earning 15 - 45% of their salary in commission.

For you? Factor London into the mix. Besides virgin territory, the flow of money in the industry in London is as big as you’d expect it to be.

You can hit your numbers making a deal a month. And you could do far more than that. No reason you can’t hit 50+%.

If you do, there’s progression. You’re not given promotions here, you earn them. Your next step is Key Account Manager.

Senior roles are typically filled internally. Look at it this way:

The current Sales Director has been there 10 years, and started in the same position you will be in.

You get a massive territory to yourself, almost limitless earning potential working however you want, and the opportunity to progress.

What do we want in return?

You need sales experience in food or drink, and to prove you can self-generate sales from start to finish.

And you can drive, since it’s field-based.

Be outstanding in your field.

If that’s you, talk to us. You’ll have questions – salary and so on – so ask us anything. We’ll answer honestly.

Or send your CV (don’t worry if it’s not up to date) to Joe@2-em.com. We’ll get back to you whether you’re successful or not.
