Business Development Manager / NAM

Salary: Base salary £50k to £55k + car allowance + generous bonus

Recently voted “Product of the Year” by a Top 5 Grocer they have an impressive line-up of Private Label and Branded ambient food products and state of the art manufacturing and product development facilities. The business has tripled in size over the last three years and as a consequence, has created an opportunity for an ambitious BDM / NAM to further grow the business with the potential rise to a Sales Director position or beyond. 

The role will combine managing an existing customer account of c.£10m, including Tesco, Asda and Aldi as well as developing a pipeline of new business opportunities going forward. You will work closely with, and be mentored by, the highly respected and entrepreneurial leadership team that have grown the business very successfully so far. You will be given considerable autonomy and scope to develop your commercial plans to achieve your goals in a friendly, supportive and can-do culture.

You will be a talented, tenacious and ambitious Account Manager or Business Development Manager, looking for the right platform to launch the next step of your career. You will have experience of private label / retail brand and / or branded food account management in a grocery environment but of most importance will be your infectious enthusiasm, passion for food, ambition and commercial flair. 

Location is home based and flexible, with travel to their head office based in the North West and customers as necessary. There can hardly be a better way to fast track your career and realise your full potential.
