Our client operates in the UK as an autonomous division of a global group. Over recent years they have created an envious reputation within their category across branded and own label through innovation, creating fantastic products that are market leading and investing heavily in ATL brand marketing which has been delivered through a team that is revered with some envy by their competitors.
The net result has been their retail partners asking for more success across their specialist category arenas. To deliver this the business now seeks, without compromise a NAM to take responsibility for one of their UK top four multiple accounts.
Within this role you will be responsible for not only the commercial management of the account and driving increased profitability, but for engaging greater penetration of the product range through the utilisation and application of category, marketing, NPD and innovation initiatives.
To achieve this you will require a strong understanding of the volume / value matrix and how this interacts with efficiencies and profit mix, along with the ability to deliver price increases in conjunction with promotional campaigns that will drive shopper and consumer behaviour across all your category areas to meet the marketing objectives of the business.
The success of this role is closely linked to the UK businesses five year plan, so too is the success of the individual within this role.
