National Account Manager selling into independents and national retailers.

Specialist in Housewares - Midlands.

Description

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be selling a leading premium service into key and independent accounts within the consumer durables channel; covering accounts nationally. You will need to identify and bring in new business, working with or above sales and profit targets in order to grow profitability.

You will need to create and develop sales plans for the customers, keeping their needs in mind whilst ensuring any issues are solved in order to keep customer satisfaction and loyalty. Dealing with Buyers, Directors and Owners your role will be a 70/30 split between new and existing business, and you will have full P+L responsibility for accounts under your remit.



Profile

National Account Manager key skills, experience and attributes required:

  • You must have experience within the FMCG, Houseware sector at key account level




  • Positive, self motivated and target driven




  • Proven track record in achieving new business and developing profitable key accounts




  • Ability to understand and interpret P+L, analyse and put in place a plan of action




  • Ability to build strong relationships with existing customers and contacts in order to bring on new business




  • Strong selling, influencing and negotiation skills, as well as commercial and presentation skills




  • Ability to use and understand technology




  • Full driving license and able to work across the region
