THE ROLE: As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for selling contracted hazardous waste collection services into higher spending accounts. As a minimum you will be tasked with sourcing contracts of 100k value, though often they can be significantly more. Typical prospects can range from general manufacturers to NHS Trusts - you'd be Liaising with senior Facilities Management and Procurement contacts; business is won both through tender and consultative, complex negotiations. You will attend around x4 appointments per week, gain leads both direct and through internal stakeholders and work on lead times that range from 3-18months.
THE PERSON: They are seeking candidates with a proven track record of developing business within solution sales, in high spending accounts. They want to see a background of selling at a senior level to commercial businesses. They are fairly open on the sales background but want candidates to be commercially astute, well-structured in their sales approach and display the ability to work autonomously once up to speed.
- Basic: £40,000 - £50,000
- Bonus: £15,000 to £20,000
