Category Manager (Premium Food & Drink) - North Lincolnshire

Denholm is working exclusively with a leading food & drink business to hire a Category Insights Manager, based in North Yorkshire.

Our client is one of the region’s premier suppliers within their category; specialising in providing expertise and outstanding quality product to the Out of Home/On-premise/On-trade channels.

Due to continued growth, they now require a Category Insights Manager to help them achieve their ambitious five-year plan. A brand new role, the Category Manager will be responsible for leading and driving the category insights function. You will analyse shopper data and translate the information into commercial opportunities for the Sales & Marketing Managers. You will work closely with innovation and NPD as well as sales to create bespoke insights for new and existing clients.

To be considered, you will have a proven track record in FMCG Category Management. With a background in either food, alcohol, soft drinks or hot beverages, you will have significant exposure to shopper behaviour – and of creating commercially sound insights. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will also have strong influencing skills, be competitive and motivated by success.
