Sales Executive – FMCG Wholesaler
The Company
Eden Scott are working with one of the largest independent suppliers of branded FMCG products in the UK. Their customer base ranges from independent wholesalers, large independent cash & carrys, well-known high-street stores to independent retailers.
The extensive product range includes favourite brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, San Pellegrino, Rubicon, Haribo, Cadbury and Mars, and is continually growing to include new products all the time.
This award-winning business is growing YOY and there is an opportunity to join their successful sales team.
The Position
This is a hands-on role for an experienced Sales Executive that has a track record in developing new business with wholesalers, distributors, discounters and supermarkets. You will have full autonomy and control of sales in your area, defining strategic market penetration nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Highly focused on generating new business.
- Answer and follow up any sales leads that the business receives or generates.
- Develop strong relationships with potential future customers.
- Develop and conduct seasonal product launches
- Ensure that any information on sales leads is documented on the internal computer systems.
- Be a point of contact for all customers within assigned territory, ensuring a strong commercial relationship is built with the business.
- Continue to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Full responsibility for sales and margin
- Monitor both monthly and quarterly performance
- Take ownership of the commercial plan for all customers.
- Attend training and meetings as and when required.
The Package
Salary up to £45k + bonus / commission structure (uncapped) OTE of £65k
28 days holiday including bank holidays
Company pension contribution
Location
The position is office based when not with customers. The company has sales offices in the NW Manchester / West Yorkshire area and Essex / NW London area.
