Senior National Account Manager – Top Four / Licensed Brands
£49,058 to £62,157 Basic plus bonus and company car
Our client is already the brand owner for one of the world’s best loved character / licensed confectionery brands. The brand is prolific throughout Europe, although less well developed here in the UK. The UK does however hold massive potential, not only in the confectionery category but also across a number of other ( currently unexploited ) categories across chilled, ambient and frozen products. Due to a substantial capital investment by the parent company, our client has put in place a structure to enable them to exploit these opportunities to maximise penetration specifically into the top four / Grocery retailers ( where there is already a good level of visibility ). In addition, it would be your remit to identify and explore opportunities to extend license into other ( non-confectionery ) categories so it is essential you have a strategic mind-set along with considerable experience in managing the NPD process from concept to shelf, We are very much looking for a senior, strategic thinker ideally from a structured / blue chip background to take on this exciting opportunity. In addition to being an outstanding Senior NAM with connections in the Grocery Channel it is also essential that you have a firm grasp of Category and Brand Management as your conversations will very much include Category specialists as well as buyers. A firm understanding of shopper behaviour / trade marketing would also be most useful.
In return for your dedication and efforts our client is prepared to pay a basic salary of between £49,058 to £62,157 plus bonus and company car. Career prospects are excellent in this top of the tree, and highly professional FMCG brand owner.
