We are the bakery division of a large successful UK food manufacturing group and specialise in the manufacturing a full range of bakery products covering both savoury and sweet areas.

Our Foodservice division has been established as a market leader for a number of years and during this time has developed strong relationships across the UK with both Foodservice wholesalers and Foodservice end users.

Our product range is of the highest quality and covers almost all areas of bakery and desserts.

You will find our products in major UK Foodservice outlets including restaurants, pubs, contract catering and QSR.

We place high value on our NPD and consistently ensure that our range embodies both traditional, popular long standing lines alongside new innovative products that mirror current Foodservice market trends.

Due to an exceptional 2019 we are looking to grow our Foodservice sales team for 2020 with the addition of two executives to support our wholesale clients across the country.

THE ROLE:

The predominant aim of this role is to work with our valued wholesale clients in the North of England and Scotland.

Part of this role is to support our National Accounts team with support members of the major regional wholesale groups on a day to day basis.

This will include representing our company and brand at trade shows, and also working closely with the telesales and sales teams of our wholesale clients, in order to push volume and introduce products within this channel.

You will also fully manage a portfolio of independent wholesalers where you will negotiate re pricing and listings.

Almost all of this role is account management focus with the key objective to increase volume via our wholesale channel.

THE APPLICANT.

  • Candidates must have a proven track record in Foodservice sales
  • Experience in sales for a Foodservice manufacturer will be of particular interest.
  • Candidates from a Foodservice wholesale background seeking an opportunity to work for a Foodservice manufacturer will also be welcomed.
  • Candidates must have strong relationship building skills, a structured and analytical approach and a passion for food
