About our Client:
Our client is a leading supplier of fresh produce and related products to the major UK retailers. They are a well-established business who have an international reach, enabling them to supply some of the best quality fresh produce from around the World. They have strong relationships with both the major supermarkets and their grower partners, and they are looking to continue on their ambitious growth plans.

About the Job:
This role is all about driving sales, margin and service levels with Sainsburys. You will utilise your experience in account management to deliver joint business plans in a real partnership fashion. You will be very focused on the customer and the category plans for Sainsburys. You will be able to take full ownership for delivering customer strategy, budget, consumer KPI's and business initiatives. You will be accountable for the delivery of sustainable sales and will utilise your experience in seasonal peaks and forecasting to ensure the smoothest delivery possible. You will work closely with NPD and operational teams internally and at Sainsburys. You will be a real influencer and be able to lead a team to deliver results.

The Ideal Candidate:
As the ideal candidate, you will have commercial account management experience in a dynamic food category. You will have experience in managing the commercial relationship with Sainsburys. You will be a driven individual who can communicate well at all levels and be able to work within a bigger business / team to deliver results. You will possess strong admin skills for account management, such as Excel spreadsheets, forecasts etc. You will be an open and honest person with a good sense of humour who is willing to work hard to deliver results.

Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have a proven track record of delivering sales and account growth with the major UK retailers. Due to the pace of this category, you will need significant experience in fresh food as a minimum.

Application Process:
The successful candidate will move through a couple of stages as part of this recruitment process. The second stage will likely involve a presentation / task to present to internal stakeholders. Whilst every effort will be made to complete this as soon as possible, it can take time to complete. If you feel you have the required experience please click apply now.
