Category Manager with Flair
This is a hands-on role and a key part of the company’s Category function. Reporting to the Category Controller, you will be responsible for developing and delivering category visions within retail customers, ensuring alignment with sales and brand strategy while delivering commercial value, measured by net sales and gross contributions. You will be expected to develop effective business relationships with retail customers, carry out range, space, and promotional performance analyses and recommendations, providing expertise and category leadership across all categories.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a fast-paced Category environment, ideally within FMCG. An understanding of continuous research data warehouses such as Nielsen / Kantar / IRI will be required as will excellent presentation skills and a demonstrable track record working with leading retailers.
You will have a strong commercial awareness, and must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of improving sales and profitability. You will be a flexible and adaptable individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
