We are currently managing a fantastic opportunity for a National Account Manager to join a highly creative, FMCG business based in London. This premium brand is looking for an individual to manage a selection of their key grocery customer accounts – you will have full P&L responsibility and be tasked with driving growth within these retailers, with a focus on new product launches and diversifying their offering in these retailers.
The have an exciting brand strategy in place with ambitious plans – as a business they are in a strong position and looking for a creative and collaborative sales professional to join them on their exciting journey.

Responsibilities & Objectives:
• Drive and deliver sales forecasts.  Weekly Sales review by account; Monthly forecast review meetings.
• Tracking and monitoring progress against budget, recommending corrective actions and strategic changes where necessary
• Agree JBPs and Range / Annual Promotion plans with buyers
• Maintain and update annual account plans to deliver corporate objectives
• Work cross functionally with Category and Marketing teams to deliver New Product Launch Plans. Monthly Category meetings to review market performance & understand the impact/opportunities on your accounts
• Drive incremental opportunities within accounts – scenario planning and business case to present to Retail senior team
• Seek out new opportunities within your accounts, thinking outside of the box whilst still delivering against internal KPIs

The ideal candidate will have:
• Worked within National Accounts FMCG environment for minimum of 2-3 years
• Ability to successfully manage a P&L, acting as the key contact for the retailer
• Working with predominantly branded goods
• Strong analytical skills and proficient in Excel
• Attention to detail & strong commercial acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Evidence of growing sales/profit within accounts ahead of budget
• Experience of building strong lasting trading relationships with customers
• A team player
• Self motivated with an enthusiastic approach
• Confident personality - You need to be comfortable speaking to everyone and working as part of a small-medium sized team
